The ASAP (AIM Security Awareness Program) was created in part to address the educational requirements within the recent FFIEC Guidance. As you know, the new draft of the FFIEC Guidance is calling for layered security, including better consumer education about identity theft and security precautions.
The ASAP program provides marketing materials covering a wide range of security topics such as Phishing, Pharming and Malware. We will be adding to our portfolio of materials based on existing threats and will continue to monitor and add education materials as new threats emerge.
The value in becoming an ASAP member is having access to education and campaign materials that evolve and adapt so you have the tools necessary to educate your customers, reduce the likelihood of a serious breach and if one does occur you are ready to act, as well as meet the recent FFIEC guidance regarding education guidelines.
